Suzanne is a compassionate counselor dedicated to helping individuals achieve their personal and professional goals. Suzanne graduated from a bachelor’s of science degree in Psychology at Loma Linda University. After, she had a diverse background in career development, business and as an educator’s assistant for special need students, ranging from middle to high school grades. Suzanne then obtained her Master’s degree in Professional Counseling, bringing a unique and holistic approach to her work. Her experience includes Addiction, Depression and Anxiety, Grief and Loss, Spirituality Counseling and Career Coaching.
Suzanne’s approach is person-centered, meeting the client where they are. She believes in working collaboratively with clients to identify and achieve their goals in a safe and supportive environment for growth and transformation. Suzanne uses primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), because every thought that triggers a particular behavior, starts with the mind and its techniques transform negative thinking patterns to positive outcomes, and Solution Focused Therapy, because it focuses on the solution and does not dwell on the past. Suzanne also offers spiritual guidance to individuals who seek it, as an intervention, because it keeps the mind in harmony with the creator resulting in genuine change of cognitive distortions and unwanted behaviors.
Suzanne’s work profile and ethics provide evidence that she is not only self-motivated, but knowledgeable in critical areas of human experience. Her passion for supporting individuals who are seeking guidance and inspiration forgoing ahead towards their own realm of self-actualization.
